OUR PROGRESSION<\/strong><\/p>\n

FIRST<\/em> in Michigan operates a progression of programs which differs from FIRST<\/em> national. Our progression enables students to build upon the skills and experiences attained at one level then flow naturally to the next level without overlap. This path culminates with\u00a0FIRST<\/em>‘s capstone high school program, FIRST<\/em> Robotics Competition, where students are eligible\u00a0for over $81 million in FIRST<\/em> dedicated scholarships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

\"\"In 2009, FI<\/em>RST<\/em> in Michigan created a new model targeted for growth and team retention. We divided the state into 16 distinct geographic regions. This model lets teams play close to home giving their community and local government, businesses, and media easy access to events.<\/p>\n

This approach also supports our sales model so that a single point of contact within a school district can be leveraged to grow a FIRST<\/em> team at every level in the school district.<\/p>\n
